In the late nineteenth century, at Marrakech, the LA BAHIA palace was built in Arabic-Andalusian or Moroccan style, standing as one of the most impressive palaces in the country. It dazzles by its size, and the endless application of Zellij tile. The palace was built for the 4 wives and 24 concubines of the Grand Vizier, but took the name of the preferred one: bright or shine.
