Hikma

Place Collection

I am the House of Wisdom.
I was a kingdom of words and numbers,
magic world of astronomy.
I was a kingdom of open minds,
I kept treasures of live.
Who I was, I´m not anymore.
I got lost in time and war,
destroyed by who have created me.

Considered the major intellectual center, during the Islamic Golden Age, has been destroyed in 1258 over the Mongol invasion - Siege of Baghdad. Some voices say that the water of the Tigris river turned black, because of the big quantity of ink originating of the books thrown to the river.

HIKMA was born from the tribute of the kingdom of open minds. It is an elegant library, with refined details in wood and glass. Alma de Luce offers an exclusive design which combines tradition with modernity for a dazzling and erudite interior.
